Susana Salinas

She was born in the city of Querétaro, Mexico. Susana Salinas holds its first formal exhibition at the Museum of Modern Art in Zacatecas. Currently she has more than 40 group exhibitions and 8 solo exhibitions. Susana Salinas is considered a young multidisciplinary artist, interested in art developed in the field that offers a range of points to explore and share through its facets. She has also participated as an actress and costume designer for the State Theatre Company.

The hand touching the mountain. In my installation and performances, I explore the idea of distance (physical and communication distances). It is a distance between, seeing and tauching, between experiences abd their story, between languages and their translations. To illustrate these types of distance I use my personal experience.
