Gustavo Caprin
Gustavo Caprín was born in Buenos Aires, Argentina, in 1968. He majored in Painting at the Escuela Nacional de Bellas Artes Prilidiano Pueyrredón of Buenos Aires, in 1992 and has finished advanced postgraduate studies at the Universitat de Barcelona, 2005. Since 1994 his work has been shown in individual exhibitions. He has also participated in numerous group shows in the United States, Canada, Europe and Latin America. He is living and working in Barcelona.
Chamber Piece. My personal and artistic goal is to explore a visual language that combines functionality and procedures in certain systems and other disciplines such as physics, biology and history. Chamber Piece is a type of study of the functionality of certain things, for example the apparent human state of ingenuity; an art book that becomes a model for exercises over the human body.
